Mercy Franciscan at St. John is a social service agency that, for more than 60 years, has provided emergency assistance and self-sufficiency programs to families and individuals in need. St. John offers eight programs, which help break the cycle of government assistance. St. John offers emergency food, clothing and shelter, computer and professional development classes, counseling and support for young parents, and outreach and support services for senior citizens to 8,000 people each year.
